TEMPORARY STAFFING

Add capacity for a defined period of work.

Temporary staffing can support a planned project, seasonal need, coverage gap, production change, or time limited assignment. The assignment should be described as clearly as a permanent role so candidates understand the work before they choose to participate.

Use temporary staffing when

  • Demand is expected to rise for a known period.
  • A project has a defined scope or expected completion point.
  • Your team needs coverage for leave, training, or a transition.
  • A new line, shift, worksite, or operational change requires added capacity.

Prepare these details

  • Assignment responsibilities and expected duration
  • Ohio worksite and realistic commute area
  • Pay range, schedule, shift, overtime expectations, and breaks
  • Required skills, certifications, equipment, and physical demands
  • Supervisor, onboarding plan, safety requirements, and start date

Examples of temporary needs in Ohio

Warehouse receiving and fulfillment Production and packaging support Inventory and cycle counts Administrative coverage Event and hospitality support Facilities and maintenance projects

02
TEMP TO HIRE

Create a transparent path toward permanent work.

Temp to hire may fit when an employer and candidate want a defined period to understand the work, expectations, and long term fit before making a permanent commitment. It should never be presented as a guaranteed permanent offer.

Use temp to hire when

  • The permanent role is real, but both sides value an evaluation period.
  • Day to day collaboration is difficult to understand from an interview alone.
  • The employer can define how and when permanent conversion will be considered.
  • The candidate will receive clear feedback during the working period.

Set expectations in advance

  • Expected evaluation period and possible conversion timing
  • Performance measures that relate directly to the work
  • Compensation and benefits before and after any conversion
  • Who supervises, trains, pays, and evaluates the worker
  • What happens if either side chooses not to continue

Roles that may suit a temp to hire structure

Machine and equipment operators Warehouse leads and coordinators Customer service representatives Administrative and office support Quality and production technicians Facilities and maintenance team members

DIRECT HIRE

Search for a permanent team member from day one.

Direct hire is designed for an employer seeking a person who will join its payroll as a permanent employee at the start. A strong direct hire search balances the employer's nonnegotiable requirements with the candidate's goals, compensation needs, schedule, and commute.

Use direct hire when

  • The role is approved, ongoing, and supported by a defined compensation range.
  • Continuity, specialized experience, or long term ownership matters.
  • The employer is prepared to run a timely, consistent interview process.
  • Benefits, schedule, location, and advancement expectations can be explained clearly.

Build a stronger search brief

  • Separate essential qualifications from preferred experience
  • Explain what the person will own in the first six months
  • Publish a realistic pay range and relevant benefits
  • Identify interview participants and decision timing
  • Define the Ohio worksite, travel, remote, or hybrid expectations

Examples of direct hire searches

Operations and production leaders Maintenance and technical specialists Logistics and supply chain coordinators Healthcare operations professionals Office and customer service leaders Quality, safety, and process professionals

RECRUITING SUPPORT

Bring focus and structure to the search.

Recruiting support can help when an internal team needs added capacity, clearer candidate organization, or a more deliberate process for a difficult role. The employer keeps control of interviews, assessments, offers, and final hiring decisions.

Use recruiting support when

  • Your team has an approved role but limited time for outreach and coordination.
  • A position has attracted volume without enough relevant candidates.
  • Several stakeholders need one clear view of progress and next steps.
  • The job description or screening criteria need to be made more precise.

Areas Cordial can organize

  • Position information and candidate facing language
  • Work relevant search criteria and screening questions
  • Candidate interest, profile review, and meeting status
  • Interview scheduling and structured progress tracking
  • Outcome confirmation for the employer's hiring record

Recruiting support can help with

Multiple openings at one Ohio worksite A new shift or operating schedule A specialized role with a small candidate pool A search that has stalled Candidate meeting coordination Hiring pipeline organization

SERVICE COMPARISON

A simple way to choose.

The best service depends on the expected duration of the work, the employment structure, and how much recruiting support the employer needs.

Service Best fit Expected relationship Employer should define
Temporary staffing Coverage, project, seasonal, or changing capacity Time limited paid assignment Duration, shift, pay, worksite, responsibilities, and employer of record
Temp to hire A working period with a possible permanent path Evaluation period followed by a separate conversion decision Evaluation criteria, timeline, compensation, and conversion terms
Direct hire An approved ongoing role Permanent employment from the start Compensation, benefits, required skills, interview process, and start date
Recruiting support Added search, coordination, or pipeline capacity Employer retains the hiring process and decision Scope of support, review criteria, owners, milestones, and desired outcome
WHAT STAFFING SUPPORT CAN INCLUDE

A clearer process from the first role brief through the first paid day.

Employers can request the parts of the recruiting process they need. The exact scope is confirmed before a search begins, and the employer keeps responsibility for lawful screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, supervision, and the final hiring decision.

Role discovery

Organize the responsibilities, worksite, schedule, pay, benefits, reporting line, physical expectations, required qualifications, and realistic measures of success.

Candidate facing job information

Turn an internal description into clear language that helps people understand the actual work without hiding difficult schedules, essential requirements, or employment terms.

Search criteria

Separate requirements that are essential for safe and lawful performance from preferences that can be learned through reasonable training and onboarding.

Profile organization

Bring work history, skills, certifications, availability, commute preferences, compensation goals, and candidate supplied context into one useful review.

Work relevant matching

Compare role information with candidate supplied qualifications and preferences. A possible match is a reason to review, never an automatic employment decision.

Mutual interest

Give employers and candidates a straightforward way to express interest or pass privately before either side invests time in a meeting.

Meeting coordination

Organize availability and next steps once interest is mutual. The employer controls the interview format, participants, assessments, and decision timing.

Pipeline visibility

Track the practical stage of each introduction, such as received, reviewed, mutual interest, meeting requested, interviewed, offer, hired, or closed.

Outcome confirmation

Record whether an introduced candidate started paid work so the employer has a clear hiring outcome and Cordial can apply the agreed one time fee correctly.

Choose only the support your search needs.

Describe the role, the current process, and where your team needs added capacity. Cordial will help identify a practical starting point.

FOR OHIO JOB SEEKERS

A job search should make the important details easier to compare.

Job seekers do not pay Cordial Staffing to search, create a profile, express interest, pass, or meet an employer. Opportunities depend on employer needs and availability, and no profile, match, meeting, or application guarantees employment.

Search around your Ohio location

Begin with a ZIP code, city, commute area, preferred schedule, or type of work. Location information helps narrow the search; it does not imply that a position is currently available in every community.

Search Ohio jobs

Show more than a job title

Use your profile to explain responsibilities, equipment, systems, certifications, accomplishments, availability, and the kind of work you want next.

Open your account

Compare the complete opportunity

Look for pay, benefits, location, schedule, duties, employment structure, workplace expectations, and employer information before deciding whether to express interest.

Explore job families

Control your interest

Express interest when a role makes sense or pass without being placed into an unwanted conversation. A meeting moves forward only after mutual interest.

Prepare for the meeting

Review the role details, identify the experience most relevant to the work, confirm your questions, and be ready to discuss schedule, commute, compensation, and start timing.

Expect a human decision

Technology can organize information and suggest possible alignment. Employers and candidates remain responsible for their decisions, and employers must use fair, consistent, work relevant hiring practices.

SERVICE QUESTIONS

Choose with clarity.

You do not need to know the perfect service before contacting Cordial Staffing. A clear description of the role is enough to begin.

Describe your need
Can Cordial Staffing serve employers outside Cleveland?

Yes. Cordial Staffing accepts requests from employers across Ohio. Every search should include the real worksite and commute area so candidates can make an informed decision.

What if we are not sure which service to choose?

Select “Not sure yet” on the employer form. Explain whether the work is time limited or ongoing, who will employ the worker, and what recruiting help your team needs.

Does temp to hire guarantee a permanent job?

No. It creates an evaluation period and a possible path. Permanent employment requires a later decision and should never be promised before that decision is made.

Can Cordial help improve a job description?

Recruiting support can help organize responsibilities, required skills, schedule, pay, worksite information, and candidate facing language. The employer remains responsible for confirming that every statement is accurate.

Is there a charge for an unsuccessful search?

No success fee applies if the employer does not hire a candidate introduced through Cordial Staffing. The $350 fee is connected to a confirmed hire and paid work start.

Does Cordial handle payroll for temporary workers?

Do not assume that it does. Unless separate written terms explicitly assign that responsibility elsewhere, the hiring employer handles payroll, taxes, classification, onboarding, supervision, safety, insurance, required checks, and compliance.
